How do I make a reservation?
Making a reservation is simple. You have a few options, so please feel free to choose the one that works best for you.
Option A:
Book your rental online from the comfort of your home or wherever you may be with your phone, tablet, or computer. Simply click the “Book Now” button or link found on our website or the similar button or link found on Google. Please check here for other potential partner websites you can book through as we do not authorize others at this time and want to make sure you rent from a safe and secure link. *Important Note: there is a 6% fee added to the rental cost for bookings made online. This charge is added by the booking software company (i.e. it goes to them and not us) in exchange for the convenience of booking online.
Option B:
Call us to book over the phone at 425-999-1784 and we'll be more than happy to make it happen. We do advise calling as early as possible to make sure that the day and time that you'd like is available. Please note, oftentimes it's nearly impossible to call in for same-day rentals based on limited availability and high call volumes. We do get so busy with checking in customers for their rentals and can be unavailable due to general peak season volume. If you cannot get through to us, you can keep trying or, even better, book your spot online by using “Option A” above.
Option C:
Walk-up customers are always welcome too, although more often than not we're fully booked for same-day rentals. All reservations must be paid in full in order to be reserved. “Option A” and “Option B” are much quicker and should be used if possible to make sure you get the date/time slot you are hoping for. We rarely have boats or jet skis available for same day rentals during peak season (mid-June through August)…please plan ahead!
*Special Note:
You won't be asked to provide the hold for a damage deposit until the day of your rental.
Payment Information:
Do I need to have a Credit Card to Rent a Boat or Jet Ski?
It Depends.
To rent our motorized equipment (boat or jet ski), you must place a deposit “hold” of $2,500 prior to the start of your rental. This is usually best done with a major credit card because the limits are higher. That being said, if you prefer a debit card and the authorization for the hold is accepted…that works! Please view more common questions related to the damage deposit below. If you have any further questions or concerns, please call us at 425-999-1784 and we will be happy to discuss the rental payment procedure further with you.
I understand that I'll be charged for the fuel I use in addition to the price of my rental. How much fuel should I expect a boat or Waverunner to use per hour?
Boats and Waverunners vary widely in fuel consumption. It really depends on how you're driving the equipment. Think of the watercraft like you would a car. Driving at a slow, consistent speed will burn fuel at a much slower rate than starting and stopping, accelerating quickly, or making quick abrupt turns. One hour on a boat driven gently might only use 3-6 gallons, while heavy use may go thru two to three times that much. The same principle applies to a Waverunner where at normal operating, you're likely to burn through 4-5 gallons per hour.
About the Damage Deposit:
Do you charge my credit/debit card ahead of time for the damage deposit?
No. We hold your card information on file with our fully encrypted software until your rental is returned and verified as damage free. If damage occurs during your rental we will assess that on-site at the time of the return and will issue you a quote as quickly as possible. Once the actual repair is completed, any further charges or potential refunds will be run. In the event of damage, you will be responsible for the actual damage amount and any downtime charges that may apply.
Why don't you offer insurance for a small fee instead of a damage deposit?
Our insurance does not offer this option to us as renting motorized watercraft is completely different that renting a car or other on-land motorized vehicle.
While we have considered offering insurance ourselves, we have decided against it. There are multiple reasons for this, but the primary factor in making this decision is the simple fact that when insurance is offered for a nominal amount, some renters treat the equipment poorly and take on the mentality that they can use it any way they please even if that is outside of our expectations and guidelines. The damage deposit should not be a concern at all for our renters that follow the rules and respect the equipment.
Can I Reschedule / Cancel?
What happens if the weather turns out to be rainy or windy on the day I booked my rental? Do you have an inclement weather policy?
Inclement weather needs to be planned for by the Renter. A rental credit WILL NOT be given for bad weather unless the weather in question involves conditions deemed too dangerous for the use of equipment by the on-site manager. In the event the on-site manager does consider conditions too dangerous, you will be given a rental credit to use another day. Bottom line, we live in the northwest and the weather changes frequently and needs to be accounted for when booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellation made prior to 7 days (168 hours) before your rental will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within the 7 day window will not be eligible for a refund and will not be able to reschedule to a different time. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes, but because most of our reservations are made more than 1 week in advance, cancelling your reservation less than 7 days in advance does not give us the time we need to re-book your spot.
